Peaches & Cream

Great with spicy dishes

 

2 cups fresh peaches - peeled, sliced, and frozen until hard (or 1  16oz bag frozen peaches)

1/2 cup sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup bottled peach nectar (usually found in juice aisle)

1/2 cup dark rum

 

Put peaches, vanilla, and lemon juice in blender - blend until peaches are coarsly chopped

While blender is running add cream and blend until texture of soft ice cream

With blender still running add peach nectar and blend until texture of a milk shake

Stir in rum and serve immediately
